Rebel was originally released way back in 2011 as the first single off Tunk’s Direct Deposit. The song was featured on Respect Magazine’s blog as well as DJ Sober’s I’m So Dallas playlist. The powerful lyrics combined with Chizzy’s phenomenal production has caused the song to make waves across the country. After all the exposer, Tunk felt it only right to team up with Jeff Adair to create the long awaited visuals. The Execution – Tunk (Official Video)

Tunk’s first major music video, The Execution, was shot and directed by Dallas native Teddy Cool. Poor Vida’s Joel Salazar originally showed interest in Tunk’s Direct Deposit a short time after it’s release back in December of 2012. Salazar set up a meeting between Tunk and Mr. Cool in January of 2013. The result of that meeting is the video you’ll see below. With a hook that reads, “Nothing last forever so I play above the rim, got my jersey and my sneakers and I’m jumpin out the gym, Bitch nigga, Bitch nigga..,” one can expect a lyric typhoon in the moments to come…
