Saturday, we got a chance to join The Mohicans at the Homegrown Music Festival in Dallas. DJ BMAC did his thing on the 1′s and 2′s while an attentive crowd of a few hundred people watched as The Mohicans delivered their performance in typical Mohican fashion.

We have posted on the Mohicans before, but if you’ve still yet to hear Uncas, make sure you check it out. The duo of Devan Bernard and Dave have a way of capturing the crowd which is unique for local artist. They were selected by the Dallas Observer as the best hip hop act of 2011.
